A few days ago, Marvel teased a new series called Mighty featuring a team to be led by Luke Cage. Now thanks to the ancient art of publicity, we now know that the rest of the team will include the White Tiger, Shadowland‘s Power Man, Superior Spider-Man, Adam the Blue Marvel and She-Hulk.
From the battlefields of Infinity comes a new team to protect Earth! With the Avengers light-years away in space, contending with the Builders, and Thanos’ marauders ransacking the Earth, doing as they please – who will stand in defense of mankind?
This will presumably spin out of Infinity by Jonathan Hickman and illustrated by Jim Cheung, Jerome Opeña and Dustin Weaver. We should also give a nod to Newsarama for pointing out that there was a team including Iron Fist during “Fear Itself” called The Mighty, complete with Asgardian weapons.
Look for this in stores in September.
