As we enter the convention season for the Antipodes this year, we’re very aware that Oz Comic-Con 2013 will be coming to Melbourne in only a few weeks. The good folks there have alerted us to few videos they’ve been releasing on their Facebook page, aimed at getting new and old fans alike ready for this fast-growing convention.
In the latest video, Douglas Holgate and Tristan “T-Rex” Jones tell you what you can expect from the fantastic Comic Guests we will have in Melbourne! Holgate has worked with a number of publishers including The Amazing Joy Buzzards for Image Comics, while Jones is a writer turned writer/illustrator who is perhaps best known for his work on Silent Hill, Ghostbusters and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for IDW.
We’ll be hoping to speak with these creators and more when we hit Melbourne next month. We’ve already spoken with Christian Read and Nicola Scott in the lead-up to the first weekend in July.
