Oz Comic-Con 2014: Nicholas Brendon and Monica Rial (Sydney/Brisbane)

Oz Comic-Con is coming to Brisbane and Sydney in only a few weeks, and the guests just keep being added. This week, Nicholas Brendon and Monica Rial were added to the list.

A familiar face for cult-TV fans, Brendon starred as the affable Xander Harris in Joss Whedon’s cult TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Currently, he has a recurring role on the hit television series Criminal Minds, where he has portrayed Kevin Lynch, the boyfriend of geeky technical analyst Penelope Garcia, since 2007.

Those attending Oz Comic-Con in Brisbane and Sydney will have the chance to take part in professional photograph and autograph opportunities with Brendon, as well as attend hosted Q&A panels with the star.

Also coming to Australia is voice actress Monica Rial, who is best known for voicing Bulma in the English language dub of Dragon BallShe is currently the most prolific voice actor working in the US, voicing over 300 different characters in various anime. In 2012, she won the Behind the Voice Actors People’s Choice award for Female Voice Actress of the Year.

Behind The Panels will be in attendance for both days of the Sydney show. We will be giving TWO LIVE SHOWS, allowing real people to experience the same madness we endure on a weekly basis in our studio. Join us and some very special guests (TBA) as we discuss Batman: The Killing Joke, all the latest news and release and maybe a few surprises too.

Headlining the Sydney and Brisbane shows is Star Trek icon William Shatner, known for his legendary role as Captain James Kirk in the enduring sci-fi franchise, as well as his hilarious turn as Denny Crane on Boston Legal. Also heading to the East Coast will be Twilight and X-Men star Booboo Stewart, Stargate SG-1 favourite Chris Judge and many more stars from across the realms of film and television, including the voices of Winnie The Pooh, Jim Cummings, and Goofy, Bill Farmer.
