Patrick Stewart talks about X-Men: Days of Future Past at Comicpalooza

X-Men: Days of Future Past - Patrick Stewart

Speaking to the crowd at Comicpalooza over the weekend, X-Men: Days of Future Past actor Patrick Stewart spoke about his role in the upcoming film.

Having just flown in from the set discusses his surprise at returning, the difficulties of shooting with such a large cast of stars and that Hugh Jackman is now staying on until August to finishing shooting on the film.

It gives very little new information, but Stewart adds: “I think it is going to certainly be the X-Men of all X-Men pictures, and one doesn’t want to tempt fate, but perhaps also the blockbuster of 2014. It was a wonderful experience to reunited with those people.”

X-Men: Days of Future Past is due out in 2014.

We’d also be incredibly remiss if we didn’t also include this incredibly stirring speech that Stewart gave about stopping violence against women, and his own childhood experiences with domestic violence. Please watch the entire thing as there’s a message there about things we can all do to help stamp out the pointless cycles of violence in our culture.
