After debuting her first wordless comic, Fashion Music Wonderland, at Comic-Con International in San Diego this year, Viz Media have previewed (via Amazon) some pages from the forthcoming Hello Kitty: Here We Go comic due out in October.

The 64-page wordless volume is written by Jacob Chabot, perhaps best known for his comic The Mighty Skullboy Army, and illustrated by Jorge Monlongo, whose comic series Mameshiba is also published by Viz Media in the USA. There’s also a special “guest artist” in Susie Ghahremani, who may have done one or two things you’d recognise.

Believe it or not, this is Hello Kitty’s first major comic book release, and is sure to take the world by storm. Recently, it was announced that DC Comics would be releasing a series of DC superhero themed Hello Kitty merchandise.

Hello Kitty has places to be and friends to meet!

Join Hello Kitty in her first-ever comic book adventures as she explores an underground realm, moonlights as an international super spy, climbs the Himalayas, travels back in time, and discovers that sometimes, the best place to get away from it all is between the pages of a good book.

Plus, guest artist Susie Ghahremani takes Hello Kitty on some unexpected detours!
