Welcome to Behind the Panels Issue 108, the comic book show whose sins are all completely unoriginal.
In this issue, Marvel launches a series of anti-bullying variant covers in October. Buy them or your friends will think you’re a loser. ALSO Dwayne Johnson announces his role in Shazam! We guess that makes him The Rock of Eternity. THEN It’s Cloaks, Names, God Hates Astronauts, Silent Hill and even Alice Cooper in What We’ve Been Reading.
PLUS our Kick-Ass Pick of the Week – Original Sin, the Marvel event from Jason Aaron and Mike Deodato. This is Behind the Panels.

Special Announcement Redux
Behind the Panels will appear LIVE at Oz Comic-Con Sydney! You can find us on 13 and 14 of September on Stage 4 the Exhibition Centre on Glebe Island. On Saturday at 2pm we’ll be joined by artist Freddie E Williams II (Robin, Green Arrow, The DC Comics Guide to Digitally Drawing Comics) to talk about the Alan Moore and Brian Bolland classic Batman: The Killing Joke.
THEN on Sunday at 1pm, it’s writer Ryan K. Lindsay (Headspace, Deer Editor, Fatherhood) to chat with us about Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli’s Batman: Year One.
