• Marvel announces yet another mystery film for 8 July 2016. That’s now three untitled films for Phase 3!
• Greg Pak and Aaron Kuder will take over Action Comics in November
• Actor Josh Helman joins X-Men: Days of Future Past in a secret role
• Arrow: Season 2 is set to premiere in the US on 9 October on The CW.
•  Actress Shailene Woodley, and the character of Mary Jane, has been cut from The Amazing Spider-man 2. The character is now being saved for a later film. Woodley is unlikely to return.
• Legendary Pictures cuts ties with Warner. Legendary had previously worked on the Dark Knight films, 300, Superman Returns and Man of Steel.
•  Jim Carrey has been rather talkative on social media, now decrying the violence in Kick-Ass 2 and refusing to promote the film. [Source]
