  • Paul Rudd has been officially announced as the lead in Edgar Wright’s Ant-Man. Slappin’ the bass, mon!
  • Joseph Gordon-Levitt has announced that he is working with Neil Gaiman and David Goyer on a Sandman film. JGL will direct and star in the project.
  • Charles Soule has been announced to replace Matt Fraction on the upcoming Inhuman series.
  • DC Entertainment has teamed with motions company Madefire to produce the DC2 MultiVerse graphic novel, Batman: Arkham Origins. They will also remaster Injustice: Gods Among Us with motion and sound.
  • Dark Horse are aiming for a more unified approach to their superhero titles with Project Black Sky, launching in January 2014.
  • Dark Horse have also announced an official Hellboy 20th anniversary celebration on 22 March 2014, dubbing it Hellboy Day!
  • Free Comic Book Day 2014 will be the biggest ever, with over 60 books to choose from. Highlights include a 48 page Mouse Guard hardcover anthology.
  • Bryan Singer has assembled Simon Kinberg, along with X-Men 2 writers Mike Dougherty and Dan Harris to work on X-Men: Apocalypse.
  • Shia La Beouf is in hot water after admitting to ripping off artist Daniel Clowes for his new short film
