The trailer for Marvel’s first Netflix series, DAREDEVIL, has finally been released, showcasing some of the first footage from the upcoming 13-episode series.
Meet Matt Murdock. Blinded as a boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, Matt fights injustice by day as a respected lawyer and by night as the masked vigilante known as Daredevil in Hell’s Kitchen, New York. He’ll do anything to make his city a better place, but at what price?
Almost immediately, the trailer sets the tone with a gritty vista of a 70s-style New York city. This teaser trailer mostly shows the early days of the hero, only depicting him in the black costume that was seen in the 1993 Frank Miller and John Romita Jr. miniseries Daredevil: The Man Without Fear.
Marvel will drop the entire series of DAREDEVIL to all Netflix territories on 10 April 2015.
