During the, director Zack “Snack” Snyder dropped a bomb with a little help from actor Harry Lennix. In “summer” 2015, a Superman/Batman film will be released starring Henry Cavill and an as yet-to-be-cast Batman. There’s already an official logo. Writer David S. Goyer (he of such cinematic masterpieces as Blade: Trinity, The Unborn, Jumper and Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance and of course, Man of Steel) said in an interview with ComicBook.com:
“So the next film we’re making, we’re already in pre-production, comes out in summer of 2015 and it’s–we’re actually not sure whether the title is Superman vs. Batman or Batman vs. Superman but yes, it’s–that rematch, that combination, the two guys onscreen and that’s happening.”
Their investigative reporting also uncovered a “BatmanVsSupermanMovie.com” registered to Warner, which may be a pretty good indication of where this thing is headed. Here are some random images to get you excited about the idea.
If they continue with their tradition of not including the names of the characters in the film’s title, why not World’s Finest?
