OZ COMIC-CON is bringing back fan favourite BILLIE PIPER to Perth and Adelaide in April, delighting Whovians and fans of ’90s pop music alike.
In addition to her role as Rose Tyler/Bad Wolf/The Conscience of The Moment in the relaunched Doctor Who series for BBC, Piper headed up Secret Diary of a Call Girl for four seasons on ITV, where she played a high-class London call girl. More recently, she has been seen on Penny Dreadful. There was also that pop album back in the 1990s/early 2000s, “Honey to the B”, that nobody seems to talk about anymore. Under the name Billie, it spawned the hit single “Because We Want To”.
Other guests include Star Trek‘s Marina Sirtis and Dominic Keating, Buffy alumni Nicholas Brendon, Emma Caulfield and Amber Benson, horror legends Robert Englund and Ken Kirzinger (Freddy vs Jason), Kevin Sorbo and Michael Hurst (Hercules: The Legendary Journeys), Michael Shanks, Ben Browder and Cliff Simon (Stargate: SG-1), Agam Darshi (Sanctuary) and Dominic Keating (Star Trek: Enterprise). Perth and Adelaide are looking like the places to be this year.
