With the cats officially out of the bag, following a screening at Comic-Con International in San Diego on Friday night, Disney/ABC has released a new set of photos from Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
As you can see, Agent Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) features prominently in the photo set, as she was announced this weekend to be appearing in the pilot, and several episodes beyond that. While her commitments to How I Met Your Mother prohibit her from doing any more in the first year, her presence will provide some continuity between the Marvel Cinematic Universe and this surefire hit of a TV show.
Created by Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. stars Ming-Na as Agent Melinda May, Brett Dalton as Agent Grant Ward, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Gemma Simmons, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz and Chloe Bennet as Skye. Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will debut on Tuesday, September 24 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
