The US Fall season is almost upon us, and after many hints and costume reveals, the CW and ABC have respectively introduced sizzle trailers for ARROW: Season 4 and AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.: Season 3, picking up on some dangling threads and taking both shows deep into comic book territory. We swear we’re not becoming a Green Arrow fansite, but there is a lot of news out at the moment.
The ARROW highlight reel, which debuted offered fans their first on-screen peek at several new super suits, including Stephen Amell’s updated Arrow look and John Diggle’s (David Ramsey) inaugural form of concealment. The reel also marked the highly-anticipated introductions of Damien Darkh (Neal McDonough) and John Constantine (Matt Ryan), who are sure to spice things up in the Arrowverse when the show returns Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 8/7c on The CW. If you live in Australia, close your eyes and count to ten, then hold your breath until the third moon of your mind transitions gently into the ether.
In the other trailer, Clark Gregg (Phil Coulson) and Chloe Bennet (Agent Daisy Johnson) introduce a very short piece showing the impact of S.H.I.E.L.D. searches for more powered people from the aftermath of their epic battle with Jiaying and…the Inhumans. It premieres on 29 September in the US. Locally? See above.
