Screened during the NBA finals in the US, Disney-ABC have revealed a new quickie TV spot for Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. It’s a very short clip, but it has one of those moments that will keep the Interwebs buzzing with speculation until its debut in “Fall”, or such time as the mystery is revealed.
Amongst the existing footage that we’ve been poring over and screencapping for the last few weeks, there is a previously unseen holographic man who appears to be displeased with an office chair. It’s entirely possible the chair slighted the Avengers somehow, or is part of a massive galactic conspiracy. We may never know.
The cast are showcased, including Agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton), highly trained in combat and espionage, Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen) expert pilot and martial artist, Agent Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker); brilliant engineer and Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) genius bio-chemist. Joining them on their journey into mystery is new recruit and computer hacker Skye (Chloe Bennet). Of course, the cause for excitement is that Agent Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) lives again.
The show will debut on Tuesdays in the F all 2013 season in the US.
