If you’re like us, you are lamenting the loss of the Young Justice animated series from the Cartoon Network, there is hope. Developers Little Orbit have just released a new trailer for the upcoming video game Young Justice: Legacy.
Written in collaboration with show writers Greg Weisman and Brandon Vietti, it will be set in the five-year gap between the show’s first and second seasons. It’s an action RPG where players control multiple characters in a squad created from 12 possible team members to explore, fight, gather experience, and level up. It will feature both solo and multiplayer missions that follow an epic plotline spanning many locations all across the DC Comics world of Earth-16.
You will be able to play as Nightwing, Superboy, Miss Martian, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Artemis, Zatanna, Tempest, Beast Boy, Robin, Rocket, and Batgirl. Many of the voice cast from the TV show have returned for the game, although some of the more high-profile voices are absent.
Young Justice Legacy will be released for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii U, and Nintendo 3DS on 10 September 2013.
