The 2014 Behind the Panels Awards, celebrating the best in comics from around the world in 2014, will be recorded LIVE TO HARD-DRIVE at the Panels Cave, and hitting your podcast feeds from from 29 December 2014.
Join hosts Richard Gray, David McVay and David Longo as we count off our favourites from the last 12 months, and get into a good chat about the things we like/don’t like.
We’ve streamlined the awards this year to focus on whole books rather than individual creators. So many great books came out this year, so it’s important to note that this is only a fraction of the wonderful content we’ve absorbed this year.
As we count down until that show, we also invite readers and listeners to submit their choices for their favourite comics, films, and TV for 2014. Send your choices to feedback@behindthepanels.net, or hit us up on our Facebook page, our Twitter feed or leave a voice message for us to play on the show.

Last year, Jase Harper’s AWKWOOD and Tim Molly‘s MR. UNPRONOUNCEABLE AND THE SECT OF THE BLEEDING EYE were easily two of the standout Australian releases. (Indeed, AWKWOOD was nominated for a 2014 Panels Award). […]
